Malbec World Day is an annual observance celebrated on April 17, to commemorate the day on which President Domingo Faustino Sarmiento of Argentina officially made it his mission to transform Argentina’s wine industry.
Malbec is a red wine grape variety known for its dark, inky color and robust tannins, originating from southwestern France but now famous for its Argentinian wines. It’s characterised by flavours of dark fruit, plums, cherries, and hints of chocolate or tobacco.
